Razer Phone & Razer Phone 2
Razer’s first smartphone was launched last year and it was branded as a gaming device. The company recently confirmed that it’s working on a successor to its original gaming phone. A leaked render of what may be called the Razer Phone 2 has surfaced online and if it’s anything to go by, the upcoming Razer handset won’t bring any substantial design changes.
Razer hasn’t revealed much about the device itself apart from confirming that it’s in the pipeline. We have since seen the device appear on benchmarking websites while unconfirmed reports have also claimed that the company’s Chroma LED effects will be making their way to the handset.
A purported render of the Razer Phone 2 has been leaked online today. Take a look at it and you’ll be hard pressed to find any major design changes when comparing it to the original Razer Phone. The side-by-side comparison of the two handsets only has the wallpaper standing out.
Some subtle changes can be spotted, such as the front camera and sensors being a bit farther apart while the side bezels appear to be somewhat thicker. As far as the specs are concerned, the Razer Phone 2 is believed to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with 8GB of RAM, Android 8.1 Oreo, and a QHD resolution display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Razer is yet to confirm when it’s going to announce the new Razer Phone.
